Covid had this caused this trip to be delayed by two years and it took place just as North America was opening up to tourism again. We chose May to avoid the crowds and to see the scenery at its best but in retrospect June would probably have been better for the birding. The trip was worth doing but was perhaps just a bit too structured and touristy. I dread to think of what it would be like later in the year.
